The Dialogue Sessions #1 - Tools you can’t live without
So, today is the debut of “The Dialogue Sessions”.
This is how this works: I start with a question, and you follow up with your opinion, and own questions.
The next dialogue session will pick up where this one stops.
Let’s get the ball rolling.
Is there a tool (be it online tool, like an auto-responder, an desktop tool, like a WYSIWYG editor, or an offline tool, like the postal services) that your business absolutely can’t live without?
And, just to involve everyone on this, if you don’t have a business already (be it off or online) is there any tool, that you think you absolutely need before you start?
I’ll let you guys post a couple of comments before I tell you mine (I don’t want to put focus on it just yet)
So, put your answer in the comments below, and don’t forget your URL, this blog follows links, so why not get a bit of traffic?

Personally I have a short list and it goes like this (not in order of priority):
– a goal and a plan
– targeted, responsive mailing list
– Virtual Assistant
– shopping cart
– autoresponder
– reliable web hosting
– blog platform (WP gets my vote)
– royalty free photo bank
– imagination!!!
While it’s possible that I could conduct business without a couple of the above, I sure wouldn’t want to! (Still recall the “old days” before I had them and I would not like to go back. . . )
Hope this helps.
I look forward to hearing what others have to say about this, and if/whether we reach some kind of consensus about minimal requirements.

Also, I didn’t neglect this post or the blog, I’ve just been busy doing the course I promised.
Since no one else shared their thoughts on this, It’s just me and you, Nancy.
Actually after reading your list, you got me thinking (a rare event
), you mention things that I haven’t even thought when I wrote this post.
But if I had to pick just one I’d go with a responsive mailing list.
